Dal download al primo gioco in pochi minuti.

1. Scarica e installa

Scarica il file .dmg, aprilo e trascina NeoArcadeX nella cartella Applicazioni. Serve macOS 14.6 Sonoma o successivo, su un Mac con Apple Silicon.

2. RetroArch e core

NeoArcadeX usa RetroArch per emulare. Dalla schermata iniziale l'app controlla RetroArch e i core necessari e ti guida nell'installazione, scaricandoli da libretro.com quando lo richiedi.

3. Organizza le ROM

Crea una cartella principale con una sottocartella per sistema. Alcuni esempi di nomi riconosciuti:

4. Configura e scansiona

Nella schermata iniziale premi Configura percorso ROM… e scegli la cartella principale, poi lancia la scansione dalla schermata iniziale o dal menu Libreria. Per i sistemi che lo richiedono, usa l'importazione guidata dei BIOS.

5. Gioca

Scegli un gioco e premi Gioca: NeoArcadeX avvia RetroArch con il core giusto. Se hai un joypad, premi un tasto e inizia.

Sbloccare Premium

Dopo l'acquisto ricevi via email una chiave di licenza (XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX). Apri l'app, scegli Sblocca Premium, incolla la chiave e premi Attiva. Serve internet solo per questo passaggio; poi funziona offline. La chiave vale per 2 dei tuoi Mac: per usarla su un altro, rimuovi prima la licenza da uno dei due (dalla stessa finestra) oppure scrivi a support@neoarcadex.com.

Hai bisogno di aiuto?

Controlla che RetroArch e i BIOS del sistema siano a posto (con Premium trovi anche il menu Diagnostica). Se il problema resta, scrivi a support@neoarcadex.com indicando modello di Mac, versione di macOS e versione di NeoArcadeX.

Quick guide

From download to first game in a few minutes.

1. Download and install

Download the .dmg file, open it and drag NeoArcadeX into your Applications folder. macOS 14.6 Sonoma or later on an Apple Silicon Mac is required.

2. RetroArch and cores

NeoArcadeX uses RetroArch for emulation. From the welcome screen the app checks RetroArch and the cores you need and guides you through installation, downloading them from libretro.com when you ask.

3. Organise your ROMs

Create a main folder with one subfolder per system. Some examples of recognised names:

4. Configure and scan

On the welcome screen press Configure ROM path… and choose your main folder, then start the scan from the welcome screen or the Library menu. For systems that need it, use the guided BIOS import.

5. Play

Pick a game and press Play: NeoArcadeX launches RetroArch with the right core. If you have a gamepad, press a button and go.

Unlocking Premium

After purchase you receive a licence key by email (XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX). Open the app, choose Unlock Premium, paste the key and press Activate. Internet is needed only for this step; afterwards it works offline. The key is valid for 2 of your Macs: to use it on another one, first remove the licence from one of the two (in the same window) or write to support@neoarcadex.com.

Need help?

Check that RetroArch and the system's BIOS files are in place (with Premium you also get the Diagnostics menu). If the problem persists, write to support@neoarcadex.com with your Mac model, macOS version and NeoArcadeX version.
